  • The Star Wars Holiday Special was made for about 1 million dollars and was the highest budget of a Christmas TV special at that time. It was supposed to go on and be a beloved Christmas special that ran every year on TV - just like Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, and Charlie Brown. But because of bad reviews, it only aired once.
